The Gaofen programme, maker of GF2

China's Gaofen-2 (GF2) is the country's first civil optical remote-sensing satellite to break the one-metre barrier. It carries two high-resolution cameras (1 m panchromatic / 4 m multispectral) on a CAST-CS-L3000A bus in a 631 km sun-synchronous orbit. The rendering shown here depicts a satellite of the same Gaofen family.
