Thailand-Myanmar Border, divided naturally by the Mekong River, is connected by mountains and waters on both banks, yet in recent years it has drawn close attention in China because of telecom-fraud compounds. Fraud groups have built large enclosed compounds on one side of the border for illegal activities, seriously threatening citizens’ personal and property safety. Shown below is the latest 2026 satellite imagery of the Thailand-Myanmar border captured by GF7 (Gaofen-7), independently developed by China, with a resolution of up to 0.7 m. Building outlines, road networks and parked vehicles can be clearly identified, providing accurate remote sensing data for security assessment and situation analysis.
